Listening to the Dodger game in the car on the way home last Friday as the sun was setting, Vin Scully was broadcasting the game. Between descriptions of plays, his casual comment was,

"The western sky is like an artist's palette. The Master Artist is giving us a sunset."

At 84, not only is the man an unmatched wordmaster, he looks with an eye of gratitude.
