When the sun is shining after Santa Ana winds have cleared the air, it is time to be out and about. Foster Park and Lake Casitas are at their best in winter (and probably spring). If you watch closely you can see deer. Horseback riders and cyclers are on the trails.
The level of the lake is very low; this is Southern California!
